Our Company and Cleaners follow certain terms and condition to make sure we provide a 100% satisfaction cleaning guarantee!
NOTE : Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our website. By booking a service, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions may be updated at any time, at our sole discretion, without prior notice. We will inform you of any changes by posting the updated Terms and Conditions on this website.
- Payment Policy: We collect full payment upon arrival at the property, either in cash or through online bank transfer or credit card.
- Pet-Related Charges: If there’s a pet on the property, additional charges will apply for pet fumigation or flea treatment.
- Pricing Factors: Prices may vary depending on factors like the size of the property, the time required, the chemicals used, and the overall condition of the property.
- Kitchen Cupboards: We do not offer a 100% grease removal guarantee if the kitchen cupboards are messy or greasy.
- Quotes and Conditions: Online or text-based quotes cover only the basic cleaning services. If the property is in disorder, additional charges will apply. If you decline to pay these additional costs, we will only provide basic cleaning as per the quoted price, with no guarantee.
- Furniture & Appliance Movement: We do not move furniture or appliances to clean behind, beside, or underneath them.
- Rust Removal: We do not guarantee the removal of rust from oven trays, cooktops, or other areas. While we will make every effort to clean, rust may remain.
- Re-Clean Policy: For re-clean requests, we require photos of the areas in question. We cannot return without verifying the need via photographs.
- Spot Cleaning Walls: We only spot-clean 2-3 marks per wall. If the entire wall requires cleaning due to excessive dirt or marks, additional charges will apply.
- Partial Cleaning & Guarantees: If we are not hired to clean the entire property, we cannot provide any bond cleaning guarantee. If you request selective cleaning, no guarantee will be offered.
- Damage & Repairs: Issues like wall scratches, scuff marks, and fixture problems are beyond cleaning and will require painting or repairs.
- Parking: Parking must be arranged by the tenant or service hirer. If free street parking isn’t available, paid parking must be arranged at your expense.
- Service Liability: Michael’s Cleaning will not be responsible for the property or its cleaning beyond seven days after the invoice date.
- Re-Clean Attendance: We only offer a one-time re-clean. If you or agent cannot be present during the re-clean, we won’t return if further issues arise.
- Blinds Cleaning: We cannot guarantee the cleaning of blinds, as results depend on their age and material. If the agent is dissatisfied, we won’t be able to return for additional cleaning.
- Cancellation Fees: A cancellation fee of $50 applies for cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice.
- Utility Requirements: If electricity or water is unavailable on the scheduled cleaning day and we need to return, an additional $100 will be charged (Subject to settlement).
- Quote Visit Cancellation: A $100 cancellation fee applies if we visit the property to provide a quote, but you decide not to proceed with the service. This covers time and fuel.
- Key Collection Charges: An extra charge of $30-$70 will be applied for picking up and dropping off keys, depending on the location. We offer same suburb key pick up and drop off free of cost.
- Carpet Cleaning Guarantee: We cannot provide any guarantees on carpet cleaning due to factors such as material and age. Burn marks or stubborn stains may not be removed with steam cleaning, and any additional cleaning required will incur extra charges. We provide a one-time carpet steam cleaning on the scheduled day.
- Access & Equipment: Water and electricity must be available on the cleaning day. If no elevator access is available, extra charges apply for lifting equipment and machines.
- Key Handling for Re-Cleans: If you can’t be present during the re-clean, please leave the key in the letterbox. If the key isn’t available at the scheduled time, we won’t be able to return as we only offer one visit for re-cleaning.
- Exclusions in Service: Michael’s cleaning does not include the cleaning of the tops of kitchen cupboards. Additional charges apply for services such as wall washing, ceiling cleaning, mold removal, garage cleaning, exterior window cleaning, balcony, patio, and blinds.
- Appliance Cleaning: Additional charges apply for cleaning appliances other than the oven.
- Onsite Conduct: Customers cannot remain in the property while cleaners are working, as per company policy.
- Balcony Cleaning: An additional charge of $50 to $100 applies for balcony cleaning, depending on the size. This includes sweeping, mopping, and cobweb removal. Glass, walls, and tile scrubbing will incur extra costs. We do not use ladders on balconies for safety reasons.
- Kitchen Walls: Kitchen walls are not included in the end-of-lease cleaning service.
- Garage Cleaning: Garage walls, shutters, and floor scrubbing are additional services and will incur extra charges.
- Surface Scratches: Minor scratches and fixture issues are common during a tenancy. Agents typically do not deduct bond money for such issues. If you want scratches removed, painting will be required, which is not part of our cleaning service.
- Oven Cleaning Limitations: Cleaners will clean the inside and outside of the oven but cannot unscrew parts, such as glass panels, to clean beneath them. Fake oven colours may fade due to cleaning chemicals, while real colours will not be affected.
